How to measure your American Bulldog for good fit Collar:
Please be advised that:
- A collar of an ordered neck size will be fixed to the center hole.
- An ordered collar will have 5 holes with 1 inch (25 mm) distance between each of them.
- For example if you ordered a collar for your dog's neck circumference counting 20 inches (50 cm), it means that the collar will be equal to 20 inches (50 cm) if you adjust it on the central hole.
- Hence, the two preceeding holes will be equal to 18 inch (45 cm) and 19 inch (47.5 cm).
- The 2 holes going after the central hole can losen the collar up to 21 inch (52.5 cm) and 22 inch (55 cm).
- There is also a 2 inch long (5 cm) piece of the collar after the last hole.
- The sizes of handcrafted collars can differ a little bit but not so significantly to be worried about.
- We make 2ply and padded collars bigger on 1 inch so they were snug for your dog.
How to prolong life of this collar:
- Keep it away from water contacts. It is not recommended to wash it with tap water or use in heavy rain.
- Never dry it on the radiator. If the material got wet it is better to let it dry naturally and then cover it with leather conditioner.
- Use leather treatment substances at least once a month to keep the product in its original condition.
- Treat the material with water repellent to increase its water resistance.
